On Tuesday, November 26th, Director Heo Hye-Jung visited Mountain View High School to observe a Korean language class. Currently, about 25 students at the school are enrolled in mixed-level Korean language classes, spanning levels 1, 2, and 3. Additionally, a Korean orchestra club is being run, where students perform traditional Korean instruments such as the Gayageum, Taepyeongso, Daegeum, and Buk. Principal Heo also held a meeting with the school's principal, Kevin Henshaw, and the foreign language education vice principal, Ingrid Andromdias, to discuss the necessary steps for expanding Korean language offerings in Utah.
