[8/29/2023], Director Kang paid a visit to the Alisal School District in Salinas, California. This visit served to acknowledge and appreciate the invaluable support provided for the Korean after-school class and to present a grant for the class to the two principals of John E. Steinbeck and Monte Bella Elementary Schools.

During her visit, Director Kang engaged in fruitful conversations with the Superintendent of the Alisal School District, exploring the possibility of establishing a Korean language program within the district, recommending two outstanding teacher candidates with the necessary qualifications to lead the prospective Korean language program.
