On March 12, the Jin Duck and Kyung Sik Kim Foundation (Representative: Kim Han-il, Chairperson: Kim Soon-ran) held a scholarship donation ceremony at the Korean American Community Center of San Francisco & Bay Area. The foundation provided a $20,000 scholarship to support Korean language classes at Lowell High School.

The event was attended by Kim Han-il, Kim Soon-ran, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in San Francisco Lim Jung Taek, Lowell High School Principal Jan Bautista, teachers Kim Do-yeon and Jo Eun-mi, as well as Heo Hye Jung, Director of the Korean Education Center.
