On 15th September 2022, Director Kang visited Dougherty Valley high school and had a meeting with the new assistant principal, Catie Hawkins, who is in charge of the world language. Ms. Catie Hawkins appreciated the grant money from the Korean government and expressed her love for Korean and Korean culture.
