샌프란시스코 한국교육원(원장 허혜정)은 8월부터 12월까지 성인 학습자 대상 15주 과정의 한국어 강좌를 운영한다. 기존 온라인 수업에 더해, 특히 이번 가을학기부터는 샌프란시스코 베이지역(San Francisco & Bay area) 한인회관에서 대면 강좌도 시행되는 만큼 학습자들의 기대가 더욱 높은 상황이다. 이번 대면 강좌는 실제 대화를 통한 언어 사용 능력 강화는 물론 한국 문화 체험과 학습자 간 소통이 확대될 것이라는 점에서 그 기대가 큰 상황이다. 샌프란시스코 한국교육원은 관할 지역의 재외 동포와 외국인들에게 한국어 학습 기회를 부여함으로써 한국의 언어와 문화를 전파한다는 목적을 가지고 꾸준히 한국어 강좌를 개설하고 운영해 왔다. …
